TERMS AND CONDITIONS:

  • All workshops are held in the Library Instruction Room at the New Rochelle Campus unless otherwise indicated.
  • In order to attend a workshop, an online form must be submitted.
  • Accurate phone number and email address are required.
  • Registration ends 24 hours prior to workshop taking place. Workshops will be cancelled 24 hours prior to workshop taking place if there are no registrants.
  • All registrants will receive an email from the Instructor confirming attendance and/or cancellation of the workshop.
  • The Instructor will wait 20 minutes for students to arrive. If no one is present, the workshop will be cancelled.
  • Library Instruction requests take precedence over workshops. If a Library Instruction session is to take place on the same date and time as a scheduled library workshop, the workshop will be relocated or cancelled. All registrants will be notified at least 24 hours prior to cancellation or relocation.

Hands-On Help sessions are also available.  Hands-On Help are individualized, “one-on-one” hour-long sessions with a librarian, geared to assist you in your research. 

Please use this form to request a Hands-On Help session and suggest the dates and times that are convenient for you.  A librarian will contact you to confirm your appointment.
